Forge Point was founded by experienced telecommunications operators who recognized the opportunity to build a stronger industry platform. One founder developed deep relationships across the Southeast through years of working alongside fiber providers and contractors. The other brought more than three decades of experience building and scaling telecommunications construction companies nationwide. Together, they created Forge Point to unite strong regional contractors under a disciplined platform built for long-term growth.

HIS STORY

Trey Peppers is a second-generation telecom operator with deep roots in the Southeast construction market.

With a strong background in fiber deployment, field operations, and customer relationships, Trey has built a reputation for execution, responsiveness, and growth. Through long-standing industry connections and direct exposure to regional telecom and utility networks, he brings critical insight into both market demand and acquisition opportunities.

At ForgePoint, Trey leads sales strategy, market expansion, and partner relationships across the platform.

WHO IS BRAD GRUNO?

HIS STORY

Brad Gruno brings over 30 years of experience building, scaling, and exiting businesses in both telecommunications and consumer products.

He began his career working alongside his father in the telecom construction industry, later co-founding and scaling a company that partnered with major carriers including MCI, AT&T, and Sprint. After selling the business to MozTech, Brad served as one of the youngest presidents in the organization, where he gained deep experience in large-scale operations and acquisition strategy.

He later repurchased and expanded his company before navigating the telecom downturn in the early 2000s. Brad went on to found Brad’s Raw Foods, a national consumer brand distributed across the U.S. and Canada, securing major retail partnerships and a publishing deal with Random House before exiting the business.

Today, Brad brings a rare combination of operational discipline, acquisition experience, and entrepreneurial vision to ForgePoint.
